An Asian pickle, a testy addition for rice and curry

Ingredients

  • 100g Diced Mango
  • 100g Diced Carrot
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 Chopped Garlic
  • Chopped Ginger
  • 2 Chopped Dired Red Chilies
  • 2 Green Chilies cut in half
  • 100ml White Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Mustered Cream
  • 25g Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Lymol
  • Salt
  • Paper

Directions

Step 1
Heat a pan and add vinegar and turmeric, blanch the diced carrot and the mangos and keep a side
Step 2
Now blanch the green chilies and keep side
Step 3
Now in another pan add vinegar, follow with Lymol, cloves, cinnamon and cardamoms
Step 4
Mix in the mustered past, sugar and simmer for a few minutes with all the vegetables
Step 5
Allow to cool, and place the prepared pickle in a clean bottle for 2 days before using
