Spicy Chicken Salad

Sri Lanka is popular for its spices. Many Sri Lankan dishes too are flavoured with its homegrown spices. This dish we present to you today is a healthy chicken salad with spices. Ideal starter for lunch, dinner or even with whole grain bread for breakfast.

Spicy Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 200g Chicken (.)
  • 1 Medium Onion (.)
  • 25g Young Corn (.)
  • 2 Large Green Chilies (.)
  • 5 Small Cherry Tomatoes (.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder (.)
  • 3 teaspoons Lymol (.)
  • 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil (.)
  • Coriander Leaves (.)
  • dash Salt (.)
  • pinch Pepper (.)

Directions

Step 1
Boil the chicken with turmeric salt and pepper till well cooked..
Step 2
Remove bones and break into small chunks..
Step 3
Cut the onion, green chili and tomato as in the image..
Step 4
Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix well with salt, pepper and chili powder and sprinkle generously over the mix..
Step 5
Toss the salad and add some olive oil on top..
Step 6
Serve on a flat plate. Serve cold if served as a starter. .
