Prawns with an Asian twist

Ginger Prawns

  • 100g Peel Prawns
  • 25g Red Onion
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons Oil
  • 25g Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lymol
  • 50g Leeks
  • 40ml Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Step 1
Cut the red onion in half and ginger into strips
Step 2
Cut the leeks into rings
Step 3
Into a bowl combine soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar and Lymol
Step 4
In a pan sauté the onions and garlic for a few minutes
Step 5
Then add the ginger strips
Step 6
Add some water followed by the prawns and cook until prawns are cooked
Step 7
Now add the prepared sauce and mix well
Step 8
Add in the leeks and remove from fire
Step 9
Serve hot with steamed rice
